Plettenberg Bay activities - Activities that the whole family can participate in range from gentle hikes such as the Robberg Peninsula walks and walks to Salt River from Natures Valley or through the forests; to whale and dolphin watching...to elephant riding and horse-back game safaris. The list is almost endless...
More extreme
adventures, activities and sports are available in abundance in Plett and in the Garden Route - from shark-cage diving in Mossel Bay to blackwater tubing and the highest commercial bungy jump in the world at Bloukrans - 45 minutes drive from Plett near Stormsriver. We will be happy to assist you in booking activities during your stay with us.
If relaxing in the sun is your aim, Plett is built on its reputation as a place to 'turn off and drop out'. Plett has the best beaches in the world! Kilometres of unspoiled golden sands beckon almost on your doorstep at Robberg, Main beaches and further afield at Keurbooms. The famous Lookout beach was washed away two years ago, but is creeping back and can be accessed from the Milkwood Manor Hotel parking lot opposite The Lookout Deck restaurant.
The Garden Route is also a golfer's paradise with a number of world-class courses between Knysna and Plett. Plett's Goose Valley is Gary Player's 'signature' course.
Restaurants and coffee-shops abound, and if you are looking for some defining Cape culture, Bramon wines out in the Crags offers local bubbly and a family lunch venue you will never forget.
